Birding today.

Hi all, today me and my friend James decided to take a look at RSPB Sandwell Valley. As regular viewers of this blog will know I am a regular at Sandwell Valley but my friend James isn't and I was happy to show James some of the great birds I see most Sundays.

Sandwell Valley- Oyster catcher x1, Lapwing 30+, Moorhen 5+, Coot 10+, Starling 5+, Goldfinch 5+, Goosander 5+, Mallard 5+, Tufted duck 10+, Canada goose 10+, Black headed gull 50+, Great crested grebe x2, Lesser black backed gull 5+, Kestrel x1, Pochard 5+, Snipe x2, Golden eye x2 (male and female) the male was also displaying, Mute swan x5, Widgeon 5+, Pied wagtail x2, Pintail (one male flew from the back of the island to the marsh), Jacdaw 10+, Carrion crow 10+, Buzzard x1, Grey Heron x1.
