Birding today.

Hi all heres what me and my Dad saw while bird watching today.

Essington quarry pool- Swallow 5+, Blackcap x1, Yellowhammer x1, Whitethroat x1, Little grebe x2, Great crested grebe x2, Skylark x2, Buzzard x2, Willow warbler x1.

RSPB Sandwell valley- Buzzard x4, Goosander x1 (female), Oystercatcher x2 (also 2 chicks), Lapwing 5+ (also 1 chick), Sandmartin 5+, House martin 5+, Swallow 10+, Swift x1, Little grebe x1, Sedge warbler x1, Reed warbler x2, Kestrel x1, Common tern x2, Jay x1, Reed bunting x1.

Swan pool- Grey heron x1, Lesser black backed gull 5+, mute swan x1, Coot x2.

Wasley hills- Blackcap x1, Kestrel x1, Long tailed tit x2, Robin x1, Jay x1, Goldfinch x4, swallow x1, Meadow pipit x2.
