Hi all here's what me and my Dad saw while birdwatching today.
RSPB Sandwell valley- Common tern x5 (including 1 juv), LRP x1 (and 2 juv), Stock dove x1, Cormorant x1, Grey heron x1, Reed warbler 5+, Pochard x2, Canada goose 50+, Lapwing 5+, Swift 10+, Carrion crow 5+, Oystercatcher x1, Lesser black backed gull 5+, Coot 10+, Tufted duck 20+, Swallow x1, House martin 5+, Black headed gull 30+, The Cettis warbler has also been heard today. Late news from yesterday a diving bird of prey was decided to be a Peregrine falcon simply because the way it fell sharply down like a dart meant it was clearly a Peregrine (yesterday).
Bartley green reservoir- Lesser black backed gull 5+, Grey heron x2.
I also did an post yesterday if you want to read it.
Thanks for reading. :)
why arent you posting daily as your at sandwell valley
ReplyDeleteThe reason I have not posted dailey is because I am not birdwatching all the time, infact I am doing work experience. I have been working with different people every day which means doing different jobs, today is the only day I have been able to bird watch because I have been helping the hide guides this morning.
ReplyDeleteAny way I hope to see you on monday for the Alton towers trip I will have more to tell you then.
