Rutland water bird fair.

Hi all, today me, John Holian, Sharon Holian, and Brian Marsh took a look at the Rutland water British bird fair. The fair was very enjoyable and interesting to walk round and I ended up taking thousands of leaflets home. We also did a little bit of birding on the side and saw some great birds.

Rutland water- Osprey x3 (yes finally!), Egyptian goose x1, Great crested grebe 10+, Cormorant 10+, Coot 50+, Common tern 10+, Shoverla 5+, Gadwall 5+, Kingfisher x1, Grey heron x1.

I felt very happy to see my first Osprey today and I thought that was the end of Ospreys for the day until we decided to have a second look at the nest site where three Ospreys turned up which only made the day even better than it already was.

I would also like to say thank you to John and Sharon for taking us there and back and thank you to Brian for the fish and chips.

Thanks for reading.
