Unlikely to be an update this week

Hi readers, I just wanted to do a quick post telling you there will be no post this week in terms of any birding expeditions out into the West Midlands wilderness. I have plans on the weekend that are stopping my birding, but the fact of the matter is things are quiet at the moment anyway and even if I'm not birding I wouldn't be missing to much.

However much I hate to say what I just said I has to be said, things in the UK birding front are very ,very quiet and summer migrant birds are either giving their chicks last minute feedings or they are trying some very late breeding attempts.

Birds are not very active at the moment and although I do love the lovely hot weather we have being having it hasn't really being helping in terms of dropping rarities into the country. Rain and winds often help as I'm sure you may know so again as much as I hate to say this we need some wind an rain.

However I'm the sort of birder that may like his twitching but he also loves the common birds so things being quiet don't really effect me that much although it may effect the excitement in some of my postings.

So yes there will be no post this weekend but, hey, a bloggers in titled to a break people, my tiny fingers are hurting from all the typing on Sunday evenings I'm struggling to cope. Ok I over exaggerated a little, in actual fact I love blogging and want to keep doing it for a very long time, I love telling you all about my birding and hope you all enjoy reading it, because well, if you don't what's the point in me even blogging? The point is I love it and someone else out there must love what I am saying.

Thanks for reading enjoy your Fridays and the weekend all- WMBB
