Birding today.

Hi readers heres the birds me and my dad saw today while birding.

RSPB Sandwell valley- Grey wagtail x3, Grey heron x1, House martin 20+, Swallow 20+, Little grebe x5, Canada goose 20+, lesser black backed gull x2, Coot x68, Lapwing 5+, Buzzard x2, Pochard x1, Shoverla x1, Teal x1, Great crested grebe x2, Black headed gull 30+, Tufted duck 20+, Mallard 5+, Jay x1.

Also I forgot to mention yesterday when me and my mate James were walking around the researve we decided to take a walk through a field, this field is located on the path going left from the hide, while walking up the field me and James heard crickets calling. We decided to take a look at the crickets out of pure curiosity, and after looking at the crickets I have a strong feeling that they are Roesel's bush cricket. I do just want to say I am no expert on crickets but after using some help from Google I am very confident that they are Roesel's bush cricket.

The only way I can prove this is by photographic evidence, and I am lucky enough to have seen a picture that James took of the crickets using his camera. So keep looking out for a post in the week that compares a picture from google to the picture James took of the crickets, when the post comes up it would be helpful if anyone has any comments about the images that will help me with my conclusion.

Thanks for reading and look out for that post in the week.
