Bartley green reservoir- Canada goose x13, Grey heron x12, Mallard 10+, Tufted duck 5+, Lesser black backed gull 5+, Black headed gull 5+.
Roesells bush cricket conclusion.
Many of you may remember me mentioning that me and James Taylor suspected we had seen a Roesells bush cricket at RSPB Sandwell valley. James put an image on his blog that will prove that we did infact see this species of cricket.

As you can see from the images above we did find a Roesells bush cricket, The top image was taken by my friend James when we found the crickets, the bottome image is from Google. As you can see the crickets in both images match, they both have simular (almost the same) green markings on the sides of their heads behind their eyes and they are both the same in shape and size.
Its good that me and James have noticed this species simply because they are not so common in the West midlands and it is important that we find areas that they are. All I have to say is that this was one lucky guess.
