Birding today.

Hi readers, here's what birds me and my Dad saw while birding today.

RSPB Sandwell valley- Goldeneye x2 (both fem), Wigeon 20+, Teal 20+, Gadwall 20+, Grey heron x1, Black headed gull 30+, Lesser black backed gull 5+, Goosander x7, Lapwing 10+, Mute swan x1, Cormorant x3, Great crested grebe x1, Shoveller 5+, Moorhen 5+, Coot 10+, Canada goose 10+.

Bartley green reservoir- Canada goose 10+, Great crested grebe x2, Lesser black backed gull 10+, Black headed gull 5+.

Its good to see Goldeneye back at Sandwell this year, their arrival means more or less all the winter migrant birds have arrived, Redwing and Fieldfair have also been seen around the reserve so it looks like winter has kicked in.

Have a good week all.

Thanks for reading.
