Birding today.

Hi readers heres what me and Dad saw while birding today.

RSPB Sandwell valley- Goldeneye x2 (male and female), Wigeon 20+, Gadwall 20+, Grey heron x1, Black headed gull 30+, Goosander x1, Lapwing 10+, Mute swan x1, Tufted duck 20+, Pochard 10+, Coot 70+.

Also today there was a bird ringing event on, some of the birds caught and ringed include,

Song thrush
Redwing
Wren
Blackbird

And many more.

Chasewater- Great crested Grebe 5+, Tufted duck 5+, Lapwing 10+, Lesser black backed gull 30+, Cormorant x2, Goldeneye x1, Pied Wagtail 5+, Buzzard x1, Common gull x2, Herring gull 5+.

Clayhanger- Little Grebe x1, Wigeon 10+, Mallard 10+, Mute Swan x2 (+4 cygnet), Herring gull x1, Goosander x3, Canada goose x1, Lesser black backed gull 10+, Gadwall x3, Shoverla 5+, Starling x6, Coot 10+.
