Todays birding.

Hi readers, yesterday John Holian offered to take me down to London with him, Brian Marsh and Tom Cattel to see the AMERICAN BUFF BELLIED PIPIT at Queen mother lake. Thankfully we got great views of the bird, at times it was around 6 foot away from us. We had a few other birds we also saw so here's our sightings list-

Queen Mother reservoir (London)- AMERICAN BUFF BELLIED PIPIT x1, Peregrine Falcon x1, Green Woodpecker x2, Meadow Pipit 5+, Long tailed Duck x1 (male), Great Crested grebe 10+.

We also saw large numbers (most at one time 30x) of Red Kites to and from the reservoir, the kites were mainly flying around along the M40 motorway.

Thanks for reading.

And also thanks to John for taking us there and back.
