Hi readers, I'm sitting inside at the moment, scared at the prospect at going outside, obviously I have no birding trips to report but I though I would just do a quick post displaying some photos you have missed.

Before I do I just want to talk about the Fieldfare that's in my garden, the bird has baffled me over the last three days its been around, every day at between the times of 9am and 11:30am it returns to the apple tree in our garden and spends the day feeding on the apples on the tree. When studying the bird in more detail it appears to attack any other bird that approaches the tree, however today the bird seems to have calmed down and is allowing House Sparrows to feed on the apple tree.

Seen as I have had no birding trips out I have been spending any spear time looking at the birds in my garden, which to some birders may seem boring but on occasion something good does turn up. My main example of this is the group of Waxwings that turned up late last year. I'm hoping to put a few more feeders up in the garden at some point which (in the current weather) may attract some good birds in need of food.

I have taken a few photos over the last few weeks that I couldn't get on to the blog due to a glitch in the up loader, but now I have got round it I will upload some of these photos, enjoy them,

Fox at Sandwell Valley
Black Swan Dunstall

There's a few of my best images of the past few weeks, I hope you enjoy them. I am hoping that me and dad will be going out next Sunday so there should be a post then, in the mean time I might do a few posts in the week likely to display photos or websites I think you may be interested in. Also don't forget to follow the blog and spread the blog around I'm trying to expand my audience so any help would be oblidged.

Thanks for reading- enjoy the rest of the week
