Birding today.

Hi readers here's all the birds I have seen today while bird watching.

RSPB Sandwell valley- Sparrow hawk x1, Common sandpiper x1, Cormorant x1, Coot 50+, Black headed gull 50+, Lesser black backed gull 5+, Common tern x2, Moorhen x1, Lapwing 10+, mute swan x2 (+4 cygnets), Buzzard x1, Jackdaw x2, Tufted duck 5+ (also 1 duckling on marsh).

Also today I saw a single Swift waiting for the bus to get up to Sandwell valley, a unexpected visit today was that of the Common tern. We all thought that the terns had left the reserve until next year but when two flew in at around 1:30 we were proved wrong.

Also I have decided to start a new blog for Swan pool which is a lake located around 2 minutes from forge mill farm. I believe it would be a good Idea for there to be a blog for Swan pool so I will get to it and I will update it as much a possible. The blog has already started but there has been no bird updates yet, the bird updates will begin on Saturday. Here's the URL for the new blog.

http://www.swanpoolbirding.blogspot.co.uk/ - This is for the Swan pool birds blog.

Also don't forget about my other blog Sneyd reservoir birds- http://sneydreservoirbirding.blogspot.co.uk/
