A Solution to Many Peoples Birding Problem?

Hi readers, I've found an article online instantly that seems very interesting and could be the next big thing in the birding world if it kicks off. The article written by the BBC concerns a new app that could be set for launch next year called Warblr. The app is a bird song recognition app, if you don't know what a bird is then this app may be able to help. Personally I think I am pretty good with bird song now I've learnt a lot of different calls over the last few years but I know to a lot of people this app could be a real help.

According to the article the app is having troubles and in tests has failed to identify common bird calls such as Coot. So it's in early development at this stage but it seems to be very promising that the tech world is developing and becoming more involved in nature and the birding world, this idea has been brewing for a long while now, a lot of people struggle with bird calls an app like this, if it works that is could completely get rid of this problem, not only does it identify but if this works it could help people to learn bird song in a much easier way. Let's hope this app does do well, it could eliminate a problem all together for a lot of birders out there.

Here's a link to the article so you can get all the information yourself it's pretty cool stuff and great to see something like this in development! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-29803779

Thanks for reading- WMBB
