Hi readers, I said I would do a post on the Springwatch webcams so that's just what I shall do. At first look at the cams the views of the birds are good as per usual, but the layout of the cams has changed and it is a little annoying. It used to be that there would be about four different cameras you could view one of which being a view of all 4 webcams at once, but this year they decided not to do that and instead you can only view one at a time.
Now I may sound like an old man nagging on but it was easier the way it was, it makes no sense trying to make it look better when in actual fact it ends up looking worse. Its a silly thing to moan about but I used to enjoy watching all the cameras at once and if I noticed something important happening on one camera I would view that one in particular.
Oh well I'm in no doubt that even though I have my criticisms about the online webcam set- up I will still be viewing them virtually every day. Some of the nests should be exciting to watch, from what is viewable at the moment there is a Great Tit, Barn Owl, Blackcap, and Mallard nests. We can also view the mammal stump, and what appears to be a window with nothing in it, so I am waiting to find out what that is seen as it isn't labelled properly.
I have to say although some of the nests are going to be great to watch and the TV episodes are going to be really interesting to watch and blog about the set up of the cams is a real mess up this year. Anyway the link bellow will take you all to the page in which the cams are located.

Please comment on your views on the set up of the site it would be interesting to see what you all think and whether its the same as me.
Thanks for reading and have a good week- WMBB
